My ‘large scale’ 3d environment captures can be experienced in VR and are higher fidelity than Google earth. They can also be customised in any way to help visualise new developments or understand complex sites more easily. Recent scans include the new Royal College of Art campus in Battersea, designed by Herzog & De Meuron and a project in Tower bridge, in which planners, architects, and clients could directly see the proposed building in its environment in VR. I present urban scans like these as physical models in VR to great effect, with an option for collaborative VR meetings for up to 6 people.
For higher quality photogrammetry environments and objects (digital twins) that can be experienced at life-size in VR I created Macroscans. Macroscans is committed to creating the highest quality 3d scans with proprietary pipelines and extensive research and development. Experience the potential when you stand inside a scan of a familiar space or place rendered in virtual reality. Small objects can be blown up and viewed in microscopic detail like never before. Real environments can be recreated with unmatched levels of fidelity and revisited in VR. The possibilities are endless.
